John Wick Can Kiss My ... (April 2025 Newsletter)

Woah, okay, maybe those are harsh words. John Wick would probably kick my tooshie in a gunfight, but he's also a fictional character. In a shootout with the average hooligan, I'm pretty sure I'd hold my own. But there's always room for improvement, which is why I attended a shooting class earlier this month. Behold me just trying to remember which targets to hit and in which order. (It'd be easier if they didn't all look the same.)
On the subject of improvement, I made great strides on book four during my trip to Orlando. (And had a blast! A huge thanks to everyone who made that trip special!) And while the story is set and won't change, how it's written is still open for revision. (And will be revised many times between now and publication.) Which means I can still amp up or dial down certain elements. So I'd like to give my diehards the chance to be heard, and find out what you're truly yearning for. As long as it's not too much "yearning." This is a series of thrillers. I know that's hard for some of you, based on the hate mail over Spike and Anna's "scene" not being "completed," and the death threats if I ever do a fade out.
On that subject, It's been (forcefully) suggested to me that I start a spinoff series in the romance genre, with a heavy focus on the butterflies and tingles in the ... well ... you know where. That series would be under a separate pen name of course, to avoid any confusion (or any more hate mail.)
I can't wait to hear from y'all! And I can't wait to share book four with you!
And as always, thanks for being the greatest group of readers!
XOXO,
Sabine
